Where is your store located?

WEJELRY is located in Shinsaibashi, Osaka. Outside of our Shinsaibashi store, we offer Permanent Jewelry through pop-up shops.

Can you tell me about pricing?

Permanent Jewelry prices vary depending on chain type and length. Please check our website under “Permanent Jewelry” for numbered product images. Send your preferred number and desired length through our official LINE account for a quote.

Do I need to remove it for air travel?

Personal experience shows you can pass through security wearing Permanent Jewelry. One customer traveled internationally wearing two pieces without issues.

Does it hurt?

No, there’s absolutely no pain. While the welding machine doesn’t react to skin contact, we place leather sheets between skin and chain during welding for added safety.

Can you make Permanent Jewelry other than bracelets?

WEJELRY offers bracelets, necklaces, anklets, and rings and more.

What about MRIs and X-rays?

Please cut and remove the jewelry for MRIs and X-rays. Consult your healthcare provider for specific instructions.

How do I cut it?

You can cut it yourself at the connecting ring using strong scissors (kitchen scissors work best).

What happens after I cut my Permanent Jewelry?

WEJELRY offers one free re-welding (repair). Store the chain at home and bring it to WEJELRY. Additional repairs will incur charges.

How long does it take?

The welding is instant. Most time is spent choosing chains. As this is permanent jewelry, we encourage you to carefully consider your options. Minimum time is about 30 minutes per person.

Can you combine different chains?

Yes, you can create unique, personalized pieces.

Do you have charms?

Yes, we offer charms in 14KGF and silver.

Can I mix silver and gold?

Absolutely! Many customers choose silver-gold combinations as they complement both silver and gold jewelry.

Can you make a chain using half gold and half silver?

Yes! Creating original chains using half silver and half gold is very popular at WEJELRY.

Can I layer multiple pieces?

Yes, many customers return for additional pieces. Many book appointments for multiple items like two bracelets or a necklace-bracelet set. Our chains are delicate and skin-friendly, making them perfect for layering.

Even though the chain is thin, can’t it break?

If it’s subjected to a strong force or gets caught on something, there’s a chance it could snap.

Care instructions?

No special care required; regular bathing and hand washing naturally clean the jewelry. For silver tarnishing, use a silver cloth or mild detergent. For 14KGF, 10K, and 18K, gently wipe with a soft cloth (like eyeglass cloth) or tissue to remove cosmetics, sweat, or oils that can cause discoloration.

Payment methods?

We accept cash and credit cards. d-Card, transportation cards, and PayPay are not accepted.

How to Select Your Reservation Plan

We have renewed our reservation system to ensure customers have ample time to select and receive their desired items.

Appointment Options:

  • For single piece (bracelet, anklet, or ring): Select “Single Permanent Jewelry – 30 minutes” Note: If you’ve pre-selected your chain or can choose quickly on the day, we may be able to do 2+ pieces
  • For 2-3 pieces: Select “2-3 Permanent Jewelry Pieces – 45 minutes”
  • For charm additions: Select “Single Permanent Jewelry + Multiple Charms (including engravings) – 45 minutes”
  • For re-welding after cutting (WEJELRY customers only): Select “Repair/Re-welding – 15 minutes” (First re-welding is free, subsequent re-weldings are ¥2,500 plus tax)

Special Cases:

  • For repair + new jewelry: First book a repair appointment, then book additional time for new pieces

Please note that while these are our standard booking options, adjustments may be made during your consultation. If unsure, we recommend booking the 45-minute slot. Don’t worry if you end up getting just one piece in a 45-minute appointment!

What about cancellations?

Use the cancellation URL in your reservation confirmation email to cancel your appointment.

If you haven’t received your confirmation email, please first check your spam/junk folder. If you still can’t find the email, please contact us through our official LINE account with the following information:
・Reservation date
・Your name
・Email address
・Phone number

How Can Two People Book for the Same Time?

When we have 2 staff members available:

  • Two appointment slots will be available for the same time
  • If booking together, each person will have a different staff member

When we have 1 staff member available:

  • Only one appointment slot is available per time slot
  • If coming as a pair, please book consecutive time slots
  • Both people should arrive at the earlier appointment time

For example, if only one staff member is available and you want to come with a friend, book two consecutive slots and both arrive at the first scheduled time. Please note that if you see two slots available at the same time, this means we have two staff members working, and you and your companion will be served by different staff members.

Can I bring friends or family to my appointment?

Absolutely! Everyone is welcome to come along!

I don’t speak Japanese. Is that alright?

While we don’t usually have English-speaking staff on site, we can arrange for one to be present if you’d like. Please let us know your availability.”
